But as for this, it's nothing short of a masterpiece. Sora's pants and boots look like something straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean, right down to the buckles on his boots. My favorite part of this by far is Sora's jacket and cravat. It speaks so much of an air of sophistication, almost as though they were to stand in contrast to his naive personality. Excellent job on the gold lining of his coat and vest as well. The gloves? The hat? The patch? You've done a marvelous job on all of them. Why is it that when I see the patch, I see it getting knocked off of Sora somehow, revealing a normal eye, and Sora shrugs and says, "What? I liked the look!" He totally would.
Just one little bit of constructive criticism. While the sabre in Sora's hand is wonderfully drawn and suits the tone of the pic, it should look more like a cross between a sabre and a keyblade, not just a realistic sword. Remember the Sleeping Lion keyblade in KHII? It REALLY looked like a sword, but it still had some keyblade elements to it. Other than that, this looks nice.
Wonderful job. Sora as a pirate? Awesome idea. Welcome to the list.
