Because, despite my own initial impression, he is in fact a male.

FF9 was the first of the series I played, so it is my favorite. I love Kuja and anything else related to it. Rawr!!!

(Sorry for my recent absence; but I've finally graduated college! GO ME!!! I can art again!! ;_; Kuja here was drawn between renders.)

And ps, that green blobby thing is the Iifa Tree, I swear. You just can't tell 'cause I'm lazy.

Kuja was my favorite character from that game.
FF9 was the ONLY game I ever committed myself to and I still go all squeeea-ish when I see my favorite man!

I really love how feminine you made his features. You kept his essence but put your own spin on it.
His beckoning hand makes me laugh! I love it!

Something....keeps my eyes stuck on those two places.
I really love the shading and the edge you have, it makes me dubiously happeh.
He has such oomph and character here, I love the way you've played with the lighting, it makes it very lovely.

He is sooo beautiful!! I love how you coloured... well, everything! His face is perfect- pretty and slightly feminine without being too girly -and his body is to die for. :love: All the little details look fantastic, I love what you've done with the outfit design. :D

Aww man, this takes me right back to when I was 15 and obsessed with this game. XD I even cosplayed as Kuja once... but we won't talk about that. D:

Woot! It's about time Kuja got some more respect (and beautiful fanart). The poor guy is so underappreciated, and so is the game, sadly. The best FF game of the whole series, in my opinion. ^__^
